Self-closing Safety Gates
Standard Technical Data:
a. Gate Arm: Formed 1-1/4” square, 11 gauge tubing. Minimum dimension from top of gate arm to bottom of gate arm to be 22”.
b. Mounting Bracket: Standard, exclusive Universal Pivot Clamp Bracket to fit railings up to 2” O.D. Bracket is adaptable to flat surfaces, and welded installation.
c. Hinge Plate: Full Height Hinge Plate provides for gate arm adjustment of 3.75” (-1.25” to +2.5” from nominal gate size) total horizontal adjustment.
d. Hinge Springs: Torsion type, stainless steel. Includes two (2) springs per gate, housed within hinge pivot.
e. Finish: On all exposed surfaces. Choose from options below:
- Mild Steel with Powder Coat Safety Yellow. Fasteners to be zinc plated.
- Mild Steel with Hot Dip Galvanized. Fasteners to be zinc plated.
- Stainless Steel, grade 316L, will be mill finish, acid washed and rinsed after fabrication. Interfering welds are ground, not polished. Fasteners to be stainless steel.
f. Food Processing Environment Model: stainless steel construction, with all voids seal welded.
g. Gate Operation: Allows for 180° travel. Gate swing is reversible by inverting or rotating.
h. Packaging: Each gate is individually boxed and labeled with appropriate size and finish identified.
