Roof surfaces can be extremely dangerous with varying levels, uneven surfaces, and multiple obstructions that need to be overcome. Kee Step Mini Step-Overs create a safe way to cross roof obstructions, such as pipework, plant equipment, and conduits. Suitable for use on a variety of roof types where there are changes in roof levels, our step-overs create a safe, anti-slip, level walking surface onto and across roofs.

Non-slip Treads

Steps and a traverse options are made from nylon or aluminium treads with enhanced slip resistance.

High Fire Rating

The nylon treads are fire rated to Class HB of UL94 and will not present a fire risk.

No Welding Needed

Made from tubular fittings and standard modules so it can be installed on site without any welding.

Long Lasting

Available in aluminum or galvanized steel for long-lasting protection, corrosion resistance and strength.

- What size of obstructions can be covered with a Kee Step Mini Stepover?
  
  Kee Step Mini Stepovers are available in sizes ranging from 8"(H) x 9"(W) to 18"( H) x 40"(W). Custom lengths are available through our design team.
- Are Kee Step Mini Stepovers designed for indoor or outdoor use?
  
  Both! When used on rooftops the mini-step is designed with a custom PVC weight to eliminate the need for rooftop penetrations and provide wind resistance. For indoor or ground-based applications simply bolt the base flange to the surface.
- Do I need railing on either side of my Kee Step Mini Stepover?
  
  No, Kee Step Mini Stepovers are designed just below the height at which OSHA requires a stair railing. If clearance over a higher obstacle is needed please review our Kee Walk rooftop crossover page here
- Where would I use a Kee Step Mini Stepover?
  
  Roofs are cluttered with potential trip hazards, with conduit, ammonia lines, and ductwork commonly crisscrossing the walk path. Where a walk path and small obstruction meet we recommend installing Kee Step Mini Stepovers to eliminate the trip hazard and protect your worker from a potential injury.
- How long will a Kee Step Mini Stepover last on my roof?
  
  Unlike it’s lumber-built alternative, Kee Step Mini Stepovers are designed using galvanized components, PVC weights, and nylon treads – all with an extremely long life expectancy even in harsh rooftop environments.

Mini Step Module Kits

Available as kits, the Step-Overs are supplied as flat packed with full assembly instructions to allow quick and easy installation.

Two fixing options, free standing and fixed

Two options are available, free standing, which the unit stands on two 57.3 lbs base weights, or fixed, which can be attached to suitable securing surfaces.
